Dana (pronounced DAN-a) College is a four-year, private, co-educational liberal arts college of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America established in 1884 by Danish immigrants.

Our student body is active inside and outside the classroom, with more than 95 percent of our graduates participating in extracurricular activities during their years at Dana College. The majority of students live in residence halls on campus.

Faculty at Dana are caring and dedicated teachers who provide guidance and support to students as they make decisions about academic choices, jobs and careers, and their own personal values and beliefs. Faculty offer this support from the time students first show an interest in Dana to the time they graduate < and even beyond.

Our graduates are successful, enjoying a nearly 100 percent placement rate within six months of graduation. Our biology and chemistry graduates also earn an exceptionally high rate of acceptance into professional and graduate schools (89%).
